Pay Rate: $20 – $25 per hour
Assignment Duration: 13 weeks
Shift Time: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (8.5 hours, including a 30-minute unpaid break)
Schedule: Weekdays and every other weekend required
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Job Description:
A skilled nursing facility in Bennington, Vermont is seeking a Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) to join their care team on a full-time contract basis. The ideal candidate will provide compassionate, high-quality care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care as directed by nursing staff
Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and feeding
Record vital signs including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration
Help residents with mobility and safe transfers using proper equipment
Maintain cleanliness and safety in resident rooms and shared spaces
Monitor and report changes in residents’ health or behavior
Support residents’ emotional and social well-being
Adhere to infection control and safety protocols
Accurately document care in compliance with facility standards
Ensure resident dignity, privacy, and confidentiality
Requirements:
Active LNA license (Vermont or compact state)
Current BLS certification
COVID-19 vaccination card
Ability to work weekdays and every other weekend (required)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Reliable and compassionate care approach
