Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and licensed Physical Therapist to join our healthcare team. The Physical Therapist will assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment plans to help patients improve mobility, reduce pain, restore function, and prevent disability. This role involves working closely with patients of all ages recovering from injuries, surgeries, or dealing with chronic conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate patients' physical conditions and functional limitations through physical exams and diagnostic tests.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical diagnosis and patient goals.
  • Use exercises, manual therapy, and therapeutic modalities (e.g., ultrasound, electrical stimulation) to improve patient outcomes.
  • Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, home exercises, and injury prevention.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals including physicians, occupational therapists, and nurses.
  • Document patient progress, maintain medical records, and comply with regulatory and organizational standards.
  • Monitor and adjust therapy plans based on patient progress.
  • Promote wellness and fitness by recommending exercises and injury prevention techniques.

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent from an accredited program.
  • Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
  • CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • 2 Year of experience in out-patient/general orthopedic physical therapy.

Work Environment:

  • May involve standing, walking, lifting, and using equipment.
  • Potential exposure to bodily fluids and infectious diseases.
  • Requires a compassionate and patient-centered approach.
