Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical/Surgical/Telemetry
Location: Cooperstown, NY
Pay Rate: $60 to $65 per hour
Shift: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM (Night Shift)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical/Surgical/Telemetry team in Cooperstown, NY. This position involves providing high-quality patient care for individuals with a variety of acute medical and post-surgical conditions, with continuous cardiac monitoring during the night shift.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients on the Med/Surg/Telemetry unit.
Monitor and interpret telemetry data, responding promptly to abnormalities.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Conduct thorough assessments and maintain accurate documentation.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
Educate patients and their families on care plans, medications, and discharge instructions.
Adhere to hospital protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State.
Experience in medical-surgical and telemetry nursing preferred.
Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and ECG interpretation.
BLS and ACLS certifications required.
Excellent communication, critical thinking, and time management skills.
