Location: Cooperstown, NY
Pay Rate: $65 to $70 per hour
Shift: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM (Day Shift)
Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our surgical team in Cooperstown, NY. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in preparing the operating room and surgical instruments before procedures.
Provide direct patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures.
Monitor patients’ vital signs and overall condition throughout the surgical process.
Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
Document all aspects of patient care accurately and promptly.
Qualifications:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in the Operating Room or surgical nursing preferred.
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
Strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and communication skills.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and adapt to changing situations.
