Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical/Telemetry  

Weekly Pay:  2554

Shift:  Night

Hours: 36 Hours Per WEEK

Job Summary: 

We are seeking a dependable and experienced Travel Med-Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care in medical-surgical and telemetry units across various healthcare facilities. This position is ideal for nurses who thrive in dynamic environments and are passionate about delivering compassionate care while exploring new locations. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Provide direct nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with a wide range of medical and post-surgical conditions. 
  • Monitor, interpret, and respond to cardiac telemetry readings. 
  • Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments per provider orders. 
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care. 
  • Perform admission, assessment, care planning, patient education, and discharge functions. 
  • Document patient information accurately in electronic health records (EHR). 
  • Respond quickly to changes in patient condition and communicate critical findings to physicians. 
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment for patients and their families. 
  • Adapt quickly to new settings, hospital protocols, and electronic systems. 

Qualifications: 

  • Active RN license in the state of assignment (or compact license where applicable). 
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Med-Surg/Telemetry nursing. 
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications (other certifications may be required per assignment). 
  • Strong clinical assessment, communication, and organizational skills. 
  • Ability to interpret cardiac telemetry and respond to dysrhythmias appropriately. 
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel and work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

  • Travel assignments typically last 8–13 weeks with potential extensions.
