Job Title: CVOR Surgical Technologist
Location: Cincinnati, OH 45219
Pay Rate: $50 – $55/hour
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Multiple Shifts available

Position Summary

We are hiring a skilled CVOR Surgical Technologist to join a high-performing cardiovascular surgical team. This role involves preparing the operating room, managing surgical instruments, and assisting surgeons and nurses during complex cardiac procedures to ensure excellent patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare OR with necessary equipment and supplies
• Review and update surgical preference lists
• Assist with suctioning, retraction, skin closure, and irrigation
• Circulate cases under RN supervision
• Maintain sterile field and instrument integrity
• Assist with post-operative care and drainage setup

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of recent CVOR or operating room experience
• Ability to work under pressure with sound clinical judgment
• Strong communication and cultural sensitivity

Education & Certification:

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program
  OR
• 3 years of recent Surgical Technologist experience (within past 5 years)
• BLS certification (AHA) – Required
• CST (NBSTSA) or TS-C (NCCT) – Preferred
