Job Title: Nurse Manager – Endoscopy Unit
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Location: Ithaca, NY
Schedule: Day Shift | Monday–Friday | 40 hours per week
Pay Structure:
Local Rate: $2,640 weekly gross (for candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility)
Travel Rate: $2,921 weekly gross (for candidates residing more than 50 miles from the facility)
Required Certifications:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New York
BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) – Required
We are seeking an experienced Nurse Manager to lead clinical operations in a busy Endoscopy Unit. The role focuses on staff management, workflow coordination, regulatory compliance, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care in a procedural setting.
Manage daily operations of the Endoscopy Unit, maintaining clinical standards and patient safety.
Supervise and mentor nursing and support staff, including scheduling, training, and performance reviews.
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members for smooth procedural coordination.
Oversee supply inventory, staffing levels, budgeting, and equipment maintenance.
Use Epic for documentation, scheduling, and monitoring care quality.
Ensure adherence to hospital policies and external regulations (e.g., Joint Commission, OSHA).
Participate in or lead quality improvement initiatives and the adoption of evidence-based practices.
Act as a clinical expert and advocate for both patients and team members.
Active RN license in New York – Required
BLS & ACLS certifications – Required
Minimum 2+ years of nurse management or supervisory experience – Required
Strong working knowledge of endoscopy procedures and clinical best practices – Required
Experience using Epic EHR system – Required
