Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Nursing Home
Duration: 13-week contract
Work Schedule: Must work every other weekend (Saturday & Sunday)
Shift Options:
7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
Location: Passaic County, NJ
Requirements:
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Jersey
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (American Heart Association)
Responsibilities:
Deliver direct nursing care to residents based on established care plans
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
Monitor resident conditions, promptly reporting changes to the healthcare team
Coordinate and supervise care provided by CNAs and LPNs
Participate in care planning and interdisciplinary team meetings
Ensure adherence to infection control, safety, and regulatory standards
Provide emotional support and education to residents and their families
Qualifications:
Active RN license in the state of New Jersey
BLS certification is preferred
Prior experience in long-term care or nursing home settings is an advantage but not mandatory
Strong clinical, communication, and organizational abilities
Commitment to team collaboration and compassionate, resident-focused care
