Job Title: Certified Surgical Technician

Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Pay Rate: $45 - $50 per hour
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Certified Surgical Technician to provide essential support in an oral surgery clinic and dental ambulatory operating room. The role involves assisting surgical residents and attending physicians to ensure the smooth and safe execution of surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Escort patients to the surgical chair and ensure proper screening before surgery
Review medical records to confirm treatment requirements and completeness
Provide "four-handed" assistance to clinicians during procedures
Clean and disinfect equipment, counters, and mayo stands prior to setup
Organize sterile instruments, surgical trays, and equipment for each procedure
Take radiographs as requested before, during, and after procedures
Restock and maintain supplies in cabinets and drawers
Assist with monitoring patient vitals, suctioning, passing instruments, and administering medications
Remove instruments and equipment after procedures and dispose of medical waste
Respond effectively to emergency situations as needed
Qualifications:
Dental Assistant Certification and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Minimum of 3 years of Certified Surgical Technician (CST) experience (5 years preferred)
Associate's degree required
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to float between different perioperative areas as required
