Job Title: Chief Nursing Officer (CNO)
Duration: 13-Week Contract
Location: Bronx, NY
Shift: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Develop and implement nursing strategies aligned with organizational goals to ensure operational efficiency.
Lead and inspire nursing teams to provide exceptional patient care through evidence-based practices.
Collaborate with clinical and administrative leadership to improve care delivery and optimize resource utilization.
Monitor and evaluate nursing performance metrics to ensure quality, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement.
Promote professional development and mentorship opportunities for nursing staff at all levels.
Champion initiatives that enhance patient safety, satisfaction, and overall clinical outcomes.
Represent nursing in executive leadership forums and advocate for priorities that support nursing excellence.
Master’s degree in Nursing or a related healthcare field.
Active RN license with current certifications in nursing leadership.
At least 10 years of progressive nursing leadership experience, including senior management roles.
Demonstrated success in leading large teams, managing complex healthcare operations, and executing organizational change.
In-depth understanding of healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and quality improvement practices.
Proficient in healthcare management systems and Electronic Health Records (EHR).
Skilled in leveraging data analytics for clinical performance and decision-making.
Experience with budgeting and financial oversight in healthcare settings.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strategic and analytical approach to solving problems and making decisions.
