Floating: As needed between Gastonia and Belmont locations
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Technician to join our team. In this role, you will perform CT scans and related imaging procedures to capture cross-sectional anatomy for diagnostic purposes. You will be responsible for operating advanced Siemens Force and Client HD 750 CT scanners, administering contrast media, and ensuring high-quality imaging while maintaining patient comfort and safety.
Responsibilities:
Perform CT scans and related imaging procedures to demonstrate cross-sectional anatomy.
Operate Siemens Force and Client HD 750 CT scanners to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
Administer IV contrast and prepare patients for imaging procedures.
Ensure proper patient positioning and explain procedures to ensure comfort and safety.
Adhere to AIDET customer service protocols to communicate with patients and ensure a positive experience.
Follow radiation safety standards to minimize exposure during imaging procedures.
Assist with general diagnostic radiology procedures when needed.
Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation in the PACS system.
Participate in the on-call rotation as assigned (2x per month).
Float between Gastonia and Belmont locations, providing support as needed.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience in a hospital or clinical setting.
Proficient in operating Siemens Force and Client HD 750 CT imaging equipment.
Certifications:
Active ARRT Certification in Radiologic Technology (R.T. (R)).
Active ARRT CT Certification (R.T. (CT)).
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
