Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist

Shift Details:

  • 9-hour shifts

  • On-Call: 1 weekday per week (5:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

  • Weekend Call: Every 6th weekend (Friday 7:00 PM – Monday 7:00 AM)

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Interventional Radiology Technologist to assist physicians during interventional radiology procedures (e.g., angiograms, stent placements, biopsies, drainages) using fluoroscopic guidance. As part of a dynamic healthcare team, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional care to patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist physicians during various interventional radiology procedures using fluoroscopic guidance.

  • Prepare and maintain sterile fields and equipment necessary for procedures.

  • Operate radiologic imaging equipment (e.g., Philips and Client systems) to capture diagnostic images.

  • Monitor and document patient vitals and conditions throughout procedures.

  • Ensure radiation safety protocols are followed to protect patients, staff, and yourself.

  • Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide quality care.

  • Administer contrast media and assist with patient preparation and positioning.

  • Provide post-procedure care and support patient recovery.

  • Maintain accurate records in PACS and electronic medical records systems.

  • Be available for on-call coverage as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.

  • Strong working knowledge of Philips and Client imaging equipment.

  • Previous experience in a hospital-based Special Procedures or IR setting preferred.

  • Proven ability to work in high-acuity environments and respond effectively to urgent situations.

  • Previous travel experience is a plus, though not required.

Certifications:

  • Active ARRT Certification in Radiologic Technology (must be current).

  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
