Job Description
Bel-Aire Center is currently seeking a dedicated Director of Nursing (DON) to join our dynamic healthcare team on a 9-week contract assignment. This leadership role is essential to maintaining clinical excellence and providing top-tier care in our skilled nursing facility.
Key Responsibilities
Provide clinical leadership and manage nursing staff across all shifts
Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and company policies
Oversee the development and implementation of individualized care plans
Serve as a liaison between families, staff, and interdisciplinary teams
Maintain high standards of patient care and staff performance
Monitor and improve operational efficiency within the nursing department
Requirements
Current and valid RN license (state-specific or compact license as required)
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a DON or nursing leadership role in long-term care or skilled nursing
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to foster a positive team environment and uphold quality standards
