Job Title: QA Engineer
Location: Quincy, MA (Onsite)
Duration: 6 Months

Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QA Engineer to support a critical healthcare data initiative focused on transitioning encounter data to standardized formats. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in data validation, ETL testing, and working with Snowflake environments. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to the accuracy and quality of healthcare data reporting.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive test plans and cases based on project requirements

  • Validate data integrity, transformation, and flow across various environments

  • Perform manual and automated testing of ETL pipelines and Snowflake data warehouses

  • Document and track defects, ensuring resolution and retesting

  • Collaborate with data engineers, developers, and stakeholders for test coverage and project goals

  • Ensure consistency between source systems and target datasets

  • Produce clear test reports and documentation of outcomes and metrics

  • Participate in process improvements and recommend testing best practices

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of ETL and data validation experience

  • 3+ years working with Snowflake and designing QA frameworks

  • Strong proficiency in SQL (Oracle SQL and Snow SQL)

  • Hands-on experience testing Snowflake and ETL processes

  • Familiarity with Informatica IICS, AWS Cloud, and Apache Airflow

  • Automation experience using tools like Selenium

  • Understanding of data modeling, GIT version control, and Jira

  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills

  • Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in government or healthcare sectors

  • Knowledge of HIPAA compliance requirements
