Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our nursing home team in Rockaway, NY. In this role, you will assist residents with daily living activities, monitor their health, and ensure their comfort and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
Provide mobility assistance (transfers, positioning, ambulation).
Monitor vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature).
Report changes in residents' conditions to the nursing staff.
Maintain clean and safe resident areas.
Participate in care planning and assist with resident transportation.
Qualifications:
Valid CNA certification in New York State.
6+ months of experience in a nursing home or long-term care facility preferred.
Strong communication skills and compassionate care approach.
Ability to lift and assist with physical activities.
