Job Title: RN – Critical Care – Endoscopy
Location: Syracuse, NY 13210
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8-hour shifts (Start times vary)
We are seeking two experienced Registered Nurses to join the Endoscopy team at a reputable acute care facility in Syracuse, NY. The ideal candidates will have strong endoscopy and recovery room experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Provide direct patient care and perform thorough nursing assessments in a critical care endoscopy setting.
Assist with endoscopic procedures and monitor patients during recovery.
Collaborate effectively with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes.
Respond promptly to emergency situations and provide care with minimal supervision.
Accurately document patient information in the electronic medical records system (EPIC preferred).
Participate in on-call rotation for evenings, nights, and weekends.
Current New York State RN License – Required
BLS Certification – Required (must be current or eligible for recertification)
Minimum 1.5 years of recent acute care RN experience in a similar hospital setting within the past 2 years
Experience working in facilities of comparable size or trauma-level hospitals – Required
Prior Endoscopy and PACU/Recovery Room experience – Strongly Preferred
EPIC EMR proficiency – Preferred
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and clinical skills
