Shift: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
We are seeking an experienced CT Technologist to join a dynamic imaging team in Brooklyn, NY. This role is ideal for a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional with a strong background in performing CT scans, patient care, and collaboration with healthcare providers.
Operate CT (Computed Tomography) equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
Accurately position patients and ensure their comfort and safety during procedures.
Review and verify physician orders, patient history, and consent forms to confirm imaging protocols.
Administer contrast materials when required and monitor for any adverse reactions.
Follow strict radiation safety protocols and adhere to ALARA principles.
Work closely with radiologists and clinical staff for optimal patient outcomes.
Maintain complete and accurate patient records and ensure timely submission of images to PACS.
Perform routine maintenance and quality assurance checks on CT equipment.
Respond promptly and effectively in emergency and trauma situations, including stroke imaging.
ARRT Certification (Required)
Minimum 2 years of CT experience
Strong understanding of radiologic safety standards and imaging protocols
Proficiency with PACS and radiology information systems
Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced, high-acuity settings
