Pay Rate: $55/hr. - $60/hr. (Based on Experience)
Schedule: 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team. This role is responsible for performing high-quality mammography procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and adherence to imaging protocols. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent patient care skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards in radiologic imaging.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality mammography procedures following established protocols and safety standards.
• Ensure proper patient positioning for accurate imaging while maintaining patient comfort.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure proper documentation and processing of images.
• Oversee the maintenance and calibration of mammography equipment.
• Provide clear instructions to patients before, during, and after procedures.
• Assist with patient scheduling and follow-up appointments.
• Adhere to infection control and safety procedures to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to support diagnosis and patient care.
• Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and quality control standards.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Mammography Technologist.
• Familiarity with mammography equipment and imaging techniques.

Certifications & Licensure:

• ARRT Certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) – Required
• Mammography Certification – Required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) – Preferred
• Valid Radiologic Technologist License issued by the New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH)
