Job Title: Patient Access Representative
Location: Houston, TX
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
Duration: 3+ Months (with potential for extension)
Pay Rate: $18/hour

Position Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Patient Access Representative to join a dynamic healthcare team in Houston, TX. This role is essential to supporting front-line operations, ensuring accurate data entry, and providing excellent customer service to patients and providers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional customer service in person and over the phone

• Input and manage invoices for accounts payable

• Verify insurance benefits and eligibility accurately

• Perform data entry with high attention to detail

• Navigate electronic systems efficiently for registration and verification tasks

Requirements:

• Proven customer service experience

• Strong data entry skills and computer proficiency

• Basic knowledge of insurance and eligibility verification

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

• Commitment to following all organizational policies and procedures

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience using EPIC or similar electronic medical records systems

• Previous experience in healthcare registration or patient access
