A leading organization is seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to lead its Advisory Services Program. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing a global strategy for Management Advisory Services, aligning with evolving business needs, mitigating risks, and delivering high ROI. This role will also support the refresh and optimization of the current procurement strategy across multiple areas, including contract and risk management, supplier relationships, and stakeholder engagement.
Develop and execute a global category strategy for Management Advisory Services.
Lead cross-functional sourcing initiatives, focusing on continuous process improvement and value delivery.
Drive stakeholder alignment with internal leaders across corporate functions.
Optimize supplier relationships through structured governance and performance management.
Lead strategic sourcing activities, including RFIs, RFPs, negotiations, and contracting.
Utilize data and market insights to recommend innovative sourcing strategies.
Ensure compliance with procurement policies and diversity goals.
Analyze spend and market conditions to support sourcing and supply decisions.
Support global procurement transformation initiatives and category management.
Business Outcome Orientation: Understand future trends and align procurement strategy accordingly.
Category & Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge in Professional Services procurement and category management.
Change Management: Lead change efforts and gain cross-functional stakeholder support.
Contract & Negotiation: Negotiate complex agreements (e.g., MSAs, task orders) with legal and financial acumen.
Supplier Relationship Management: Drive innovation, monitor supplier performance, and implement governance frameworks.
Process Optimization: Identify and drive opportunities for procurement efficiency and effectiveness.
Communication & Influence: Engage with senior leadership and drive alignment across global functions.
Global Market Understanding: Leverage global supplier knowledge and drive compliance with global strategy.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Administration, Finance, or related field required.
Experience:
7+ years of experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, or Business Management.
Strong background in Indirect Procurement with focus on Management Advisory Services.
Experience in Pharma, Healthcare, or Consumer Goods industries highly preferred.
Proven ability to influence senior leaders and manage complex supplier negotiations.
Proficiency in market intelligence tools and procurement systems.
Executive presence and strong interpersonal skills.
