Job Title: Freight Dispatch Specialist

📍 Location: Springdale, AR – 72764
🕒 Duration: 3 Months (Extension Possible)
🔄 Shift: 40 Hrs per week

Overview:

• Join the dispatch team in coordinating freight assignments, monitoring fleet activity, and ensuring safe, compliant delivery operations.
• Learn under experienced leadership and gain hands-on experience across load planning, driver support, and shipment routing.
• Manage critical weekend and evening coverage as needed and handle real-time issue resolution with freight and driver activities.

REQUIREMENTS: be able to work a varying work schedule.

EDUCATION: Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

• 6 months of long-haul dispatch experience required.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations a plus.

COMPUTER SKILLS: Requires basic computer skills such as e-mail excel word.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS: Good verbal and written communication skills.

SPECIAL SKILLS: Motivated self-starter who has the desire to learn and the ability to lead and motivate others.

Looking for people with 6 months long haul dispatch experience, not customer service experience in the transportation field. Must have recent, relevant experience.
