Job Title: Director of Nursing
Location: Jersey Shore, PA 17740
Pay Rate: $55 – $60 per hour
Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Director of Nursing to lead and manage the nursing department. This leadership role requires strategic oversight of nursing operations, staff development, and patient care quality. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical knowledge, leadership experience, and a commitment to excellence in healthcare delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage all nursing personnel and daily operations.
Develop and implement short- and long-term departmental goals.
Establish, update, and enforce nursing policies to enhance patient care standards.
Oversee nursing care, admission, and patient flow processes.
Monitor departmental budgets and manage expenditures.
Address and resolve nursing-related issues promptly and effectively.
Collaborate with physicians, administrators, and other departments to ensure coordinated care and facility efficiency.
Ensure accurate and compliant medical recordkeeping and documentation.
Recruit, hire, and train new nursing staff members.
Conduct performance evaluations and prepare detailed reports.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of nursing leadership experience.
Active Registered Nurse (RN) License in Pennsylvania.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA preferred).
