Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – PACU (Night Shift)

📍 Location: Neptune, NJ 07754
🕒 Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | 3x12 Hour Shifts (Nights)
📅 Contract Length: 13 Weeks (High Possibility of Extension)

💰 Pay: $1,800 – $2,100 per week

Job Overview:

We're seeking an experienced PACU Registered Nurse to join a dynamic surgical recovery team. In this role, you'll provide critical care to post-operative patients, monitor recovery from anesthesia, and ensure safe transitions to the next level of care. Ideal for nurses with a strong background in critical care and telemetry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess patients during post-anesthesia recovery

• Administer medications and manage post-op pain

• Support respiratory needs and maintain airway patency

• Evaluate surgical sites for complications (bleeding, infection)

• Maintain accurate, timely patient documentation

• Communicate with OR staff and update patient families

• Prepare patients for discharge or unit transfer

Qualifications:

✅ Minimum 2 years of recent PACU and/or critical care experience
✅ Strong telemetry background
✅ Telemetry certification required

Required Certifications (Must Have Before Start):

• BLS – Basic Life Support (AHA)

• ACLS – Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (AHA)

• PALS – Pediatric Advanced Life Support (AHA)

• Active RN License in NJ
