Job Title: IT Project Manager
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Duration: 2+ Year Project
Work Arrangement: Onsite initially (5 days/week during ramp-up and training), transitioning to hybrid (approx. 2 days/week onsite)
We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead and support large-scale, cross-organizational technology projects. This role will play a vital part in coordinating IT project efforts, maintaining timelines, managing budgets, mitigating risks, and ensuring successful project delivery while aligning with strategic goals.
Lead multidisciplinary project teams (6+ members), including internal stakeholders and vendors
Drive the implementation of complex IT projects using standard project management methodologies
Develop project charters, schedules, work breakdown structures, and resource plans
Maintain scope, monitor project risks and issues, and ensure timely resolution
Track budgets, including oversight of internal staff, consultants, and vendor costs
Deliver executive-level reporting and maintain thorough documentation and financial records
Validate vendor deliverables and contractual obligations
Promote best practices in change control, quality assurance, and compliance
Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders
Support the organization’s digital transformation initiatives through innovative project execution
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, IT, or a related field
Minimum 3 years of IT project management or business systems analysis experience
Valid Arizona driver’s license (or ability to obtain upon hire)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact at all levels
Experience creating detailed documentation, leading teams, and managing vendor relationships
Master’s degree in Business or IT-related field
7+ years of project management experience in large or complex environments
Background in COTS/SaaS implementations
Experience using Agile methodologies and leading software or infrastructure projects
Experience in Organizational Change Management (OCM)
Familiarity with the criminal justice system
Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification or equivalent
Experience with upgrade cycles, release management, and enterprise-scale rollouts
