Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)
Location: Montour Falls, NY 14865
Duration: 13 Weeks
Pay Rate: $35–$38 per hour

Position Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled LPN/LVN to provide high-quality care in a supportive healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer oral, topical, injectable, and IV medications as prescribed

• Perform wound care and dressing changes; monitor healing progress

• Monitor and document vital signs (BP, pulse, temp, respiration, O2 saturation)

• Assist residents with daily living tasks: bathing, grooming, feeding, toileting, and mobility

• Follow individualized care plans and report changes in condition

• Conduct basic assessments and escalate concerns to RNs or physicians

• Maintain accurate records of care, medications, and observations

• Educate residents and families on medications and health maintenance

• Supervise and support CNAs to ensure quality care delivery

• Respond to emergencies and initiate basic life support when needed

Qualifications:

• Active LPN or LVN license (state of New York)

• BLS certification (preferred)

• Previous experience in a long-term care or clinical setting strongly preferred

• Strong communication and teamwork skills
