Schedule: 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM | Monday – Friday
Hours: 37.5 hours/week | 7.5 hours/day | 5 days/week

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CT Technologist for an overnight contract position. This role requires performing high-quality diagnostic CT procedures, ensuring safety protocols, and maintaining compliance with departmental and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have current certification and at least one year of hands-on CT experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform CT procedures using appropriate kV and mA techniques to ensure diagnostic image quality.

  2. Conduct daily quality control and calibration checks on all imaging equipment before use.

  3. Administer radiopharmaceuticals as prescribed, adhering to proper safety and protocol standards.

  4. Complete all required documentation, including logs, manuals, and charge sheets; promptly report equipment issues.

  5. Adhere to radiation safety and ALARA principles through routine QA/QC and safety testing.

  6. Maintain and retrieve patient films and electronic data for radiologist interpretation.

  7. Order and verify patient-specific radiopharmaceutical doses in advance and on receipt.

  8. Confirm activity levels of doses prior to administration according to policy.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Proficiency in performing CT procedures per established protocols.

  • Ability to assess and respond appropriately to patient needs throughout the imaging process.

  • Excellent judgment and attention to detail in clinical and technical duties.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

Education & Certification Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program

  • New York State License (L.R.T) – Radiologic Technologist

  • ARRT Certification in Radiography and CT

  • BLS Certification

  • Minimum 1 year of CT experience required
