Travel Registered Nurse – Critical Care Unit - TRNCCU 25-21875

Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse – CCU (Critical Care Unit)
Location: Edison, NJ
Assignment Duration: 13 Weeks (Extendable)
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (Night Shift)
Schedule: Every Other Weekend Required; Holidays As Needed

Education Requirements:

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of strong experience in Critical Care

• Background in Medical/Surgical (Med/Surg) nursing

Certifications (Required):

• Active New Jersey RN License or Multi-State Compact RN License

• Basic Life Support (BLS) – AHA

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – AHA

• NIH Stroke Scale Certification (NIHSS)

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess patients and collaborate with physicians in providing care

• Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans based on patient assessments and needs

• Prioritize and manage patient care through planning, intervention, and evaluation

• Initiate care based on medical diagnoses, patient conditions, and nursing frameworks

• Perform and document therapeutic nursing interventions

• Advocate for and incorporate evidence-based practices into patient care

• Deliver patient-centric care aligned with professional nursing standards

• Fulfill additional duties as assigned
