Radiation Oncology Technologist

Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited Radiation Therapy program (AAS or AMA-certified).
• RRT license with 3-5 years of experience in a radiation oncology setting.
• NYS license required.
• Must successfully pass pre-employment health clearance.

Duties:

• Deliver prescribed radiation therapy treatments to cancer patients.
• Operate high-tech radiotherapy machines such as Linear Accelerators and Simulators.
• Interpret and execute radiation treatment plans with precision.
• Maintain compliance with radiation safety standards.
• Track patient progress and report any treatment side effects.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development programs.
