Oncology Radiation Therapist

Qualifications:

• Completion of an AAS or AMA-certified program in Radiation Therapy.
• RRT license with 3-5 years of relevant oncology experience.
• NYS license required.
• Must successfully pass pre-employment health clearance.

Duties:

• Deliver radiation therapy treatments to patients per physician directives.
• Operate and maintain Linear Accelerators, Simulators, and other radiotherapy equipment.
• Interpret and execute radiation therapy plans accurately.
• Capture radiographic images to confirm treatment positioning.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory policies.
• Monitor and document patient progress, reporting any adverse reactions.
• Participate in ongoing educational and in-service training programs.
