Title: Medical Device Control Specialist
Duration: 11 Months
Location: Remote (Base Location: Wauwatosa, WI)
Pay Rate: $30/hour (C2C)
Job Description: An opportunity is available for a Mechanical Engineer to support parts and project work in the medical device industry. This role involves product design, testing, optimization, and engineering change management, contributing to the performance and reliability of advanced medical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Mechanical design using Creo and Windchill.
Perform simulations and analyses (using Creo, Ansys FEA, stack-up analysis) along with lab testing.
Optimize and improve designs to reduce cost, increase yield, and enhance performance and reliability.
Support engineering change control processes.
Utilize rapid prototyping techniques and conduct design verifications.
Minimum Qualifications:
Experience in the medical systems or mechanical engineering industry.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to clearly articulate technical problems.
Proven analytical ability and technical competency in hardware engineering.
Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
Proficient in 3D CAD systems, particularly Creo/Windchill.
Familiarity with engineering simulation tools like Ansys.
Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferably with a focus on hardware).
