Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Nurse to join a supportive educational environment in Elizabeth, NJ. This role plays a vital part in ensuring the health and well-being of students from Kindergarten through 9th grade.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct student health screenings and medical examinations
Maintain and manage student health records, ensuring compliance with state regulations
Provide immediate care for illness and injuries, including medical emergencies
Collaborate with parents, school staff, and local health agencies to promote student wellness
Support the implementation of health education programs
Participate in building health inspections and reporting

Qualifications:

Valid New Jersey School Nurse Certificate
Current CPR Certification (American Heart Association or equivalent)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
