Job Title: Senior Integration Lead
Location: Boston, MA (Hybrid)
Duration: 6 Months (Tentative)
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Integration Lead to spearhead the design, development, and implementation of robust middleware and integration solutions. This role requires expertise in Mulesoft, API management, cloud services, and integration technologies. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.
Lead the design, installation, and administration of middleware solutions using Mulesoft and related integration technologies.
Develop and maintain secure APIs (SOAP & REST) aligned with enterprise standards.
Collaborate with development teams to build scalable API capabilities with appropriate security and policy controls.
Establish and maintain a comprehensive API/service registry.
Conduct code reviews and document unit testing and deployment activities.
Support application development projects, contributing to design, planning, and release management.
Act as a liaison between development teams, end users, system administrators, and leadership.
Manage vendor relationships and support as needed.
Maintain documentation and technical artifacts related to integration solutions.
Research and evaluate emerging tools and best practices to drive continuous improvement.
Mentor junior developers and enforce coding standards and quality practices.
Participate in design reviews, audits, and risk assessments.
Support operational readiness and incident resolution.
Follow change management procedures and report system inefficiencies or risks.
8+ years in software development with strong focus on integration.
Expert knowledge of Mulesoft and connectors.
Experience with Salesforce and AWS (API Gateway, WAF).
Proficiency in XML, JSON, SOAP, REST, OAuth, JWT.
Familiarity with IBM DataPower and Azure identity services.
Strong understanding of TLS/SSL encryption and digital signatures.
Hands-on experience with tools like SVN, Git, SOAPUI, and Postman.
Ability to translate business needs into technical specifications.
Proven leadership and mentoring experience.
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Mulesoft Certification preferred.
