Job Title: Radiology Technologist
Location: Cincinnati, OH
Duration: 13-Week Contract (Extendable)
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Radiology Technologist to join our team in Cincinnati, OH. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic radiographic procedures, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining high-quality imaging standards. This role requires adaptability across the diagnostic department and collaboration with various medical teams.
Perform radiographs as per physician orders while ensuring patient safety and accurate positioning.
Maintain versatility and adaptability across different areas of the diagnostic Radiology department.
Protect patients and staff from unnecessary radiation exposure.
Handle front desk operations, manage computer systems, and promptly report equipment issues.
Schedule exams and coordinate patient transportation through the centralized transport program.
Modify, access, or cancel patient exams in the computer system when necessary.
Communicate effectively with other departments and imaging associates, including on-call personnel.
Report and document equipment issues through the clinical engineering 24-hour phone line.
Assist in training and guiding Radiologic Technologist Students.
Conduct equipment quality assurance checks and ensure compliance with regulatory standards (ODH, Joint Commission).
Order supplies and assist with staff scheduling and departmental audits.
Access patient records as required for medical imaging procedures.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, isolation techniques, and sterile procedures.
Proficiency in patient positioning and operating radiology equipment, including x-ray machines and printers.
Experience in operating room (OR) procedures.
Preferred: Experience with fluoroscopic studies.
Required: ARRT Certification, BLS Certification (American Heart Association).
