Job Title: Revenue Cycle Investigator
Duties:
Analyze and review patient accounts, ensuring accurate claim submissions.
Address claim rejections and denials by implementing corrections and resubmitting promptly.
Manage and post payments, adjustments, and refunds within the patient accounting system.
Process pre-authorizations and document outcomes systematically.
Generate and monitor patient and insurance aging reports, following up on overdue accounts.
Provide billing support to patients, including arranging payment plans.
Refer unresolved cases to supervisors and participate in training programs to enhance skills.
Skills Required:
Expertise in paper and electronic claims processing and account auditing.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Multilingual capabilities (English, Spanish, French preferred).
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree required; High School diploma with 4+ years of relevant experience acceptable.
