Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: Wayne, NJ
Pay Rate: $54 - $59 per hour (Based on experience)
Schedule: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
Department: Rehab

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in a long-term care and rehabilitation setting.
  • Monitor and document residents' health status, including vital signs, medication administration, and treatments.
  • Develop and update individualized care plans in collaboration with healthcare teams, residents, and families.
  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments while ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
  • Provide wound care, manage catheterization, and perform other necessary medical procedures.
  • Supervise and mentor nursing assistants and healthcare staff to ensure quality patient care.
  • Respond promptly to changes in residents’ conditions and escalate concerns as needed.
  • Educate residents and families on health management, medication use, and rehabilitation techniques.
  • Ensure compliance with facility policies, regulatory standards, and safety protocols.
  • Maintain clear, accurate, and up-to-date patient records.
  • Collaborate with physical, occupational, and speech therapists in the rehabilitation process.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in long-term care or rehabilitation nursing Must.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to enhancing residents' quality of life.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Requirements:

  • Active and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey.
  • CPR/BLS certification required (Advanced certifications preferred).
  • COVID-19 vaccination card.
