Job Title: Certified Histotechnologist

Duties:
Perform routine and specialized histology procedures, including tissue processing, embedding, microtomy, and staining. Maintain laboratory equipment, follow quality control procedures, and adhere to safety protocols. Collaborate with pathologists to ensure high-quality specimen preparation.

Skills:

• Minimum of 1 year of histology laboratory experience.
• Proficiency in tissue preparation, staining techniques, and quality control.

Education:

• Certification as a Histotechnologist or Histologic Technician (HT/HTL) through ASCP or equivalent.
• BLS certification preferred.

Languages:

• Fluent in English (Speak, Read, Write).

Minimum Degree Required:

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Pay Range:
$21.50 - $26.00 per hour.
