Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Specialist

Duties: The Nuclear Medicine Specialist performs diagnostic imaging using radiopharmaceuticals, operating equipment to visualize internal organs and systems. This role includes administering the prescribed radioactive material, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining accurate and detailed patient records. The technologist is responsible for troubleshooting equipment malfunctions, adhering to safety protocols, and ensuring the quality of scans for radiologists to interpret. A critical aspect of the role includes radiation protection for both patients and healthcare staff.

Skills:

  • Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in Nuclear Medicine
  • Knowledge of radiation safety and diagnostic imaging techniques

Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Nuclear Medicine Technology certification (ARRT or NMTCB)
  • BLS certification is preferred

Certifications & Licenses:

  • Certification from ARRT or NMTCB
  • BLS Certification

Languages:

  • English (Speak, Read, Write)

Pay Range:

  • Weekly: $1,600 - $1,900
