Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Imaging Technician

Duties:

1. Operates nuclear imaging equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images of patients.
2. Administers radiopharmaceuticals to patients, ensuring proper technique and dosage.
3. Provides instructions and support to patients before, during, and after imaging procedures.
4. Monitors patients for any adverse reactions during imaging and ensures their comfort.
5. Prepares and checks all equipment and supplies required for imaging procedures.
6. Ensures images are processed and reviewed by physicians for diagnosis.
7. Documents all relevant patient information and procedure details in the hospital system.
8. Coordinates with healthcare teams to ensure efficient patient flow and timely results.
9. Participates in departmental quality control and safety activities.
10. Maintains a clean and organized work environment in compliance with hospital standards.

Skills:

• Minimum 1 year experience in nuclear medicine imaging procedures.
• Familiarity with radiopharmaceutical preparation and handling.

Education & Certifications:

• Graduate from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
• ARRT or NMTCB certification required.
• NYS Nuclear Medicine license required.
• BLS certification.

Pay Range:

• Weekly: $3,200 - $3,800
