Job Title: Senior MRI Technologist

Duties:

1. Performs and supervises MRI procedures to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
2. Prepares and positions patients appropriately for imaging, ensuring their comfort and safety.
3. Administers contrast media under physician supervision, ensuring safe and effective use.
4. Evaluates MRI images for diagnostic accuracy and quality before submitting to PACS.
5. Assists in the performance of interventional procedures, supporting physicians with technical expertise.
6. Troubleshoots and maintains MRI equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
7. Implements radiation safety measures and ensures compliance with ALARA principles.
8. Reviews and processes patient documentation in RIS, ensuring accurate records.
9. Maintains MRI suite cleanliness and ensures the appropriate sterilization of equipment.
10. Provides guidance and training to junior staff, supporting their professional development.

Skills:

• Extensive experience in MRI imaging and equipment maintenance.
• Ability to lead and mentor other MRI technologists.

Education & Certifications:

• ARRT certification in MRI required.
• NYS licensure in Radiography required.
• BLS certification.

Pay Range:

• Weekly: $3,700 - $4,300
