Job Title: Advanced MRI Technologist
Duties:
Performs high-quality MRI imaging for diagnostic purposes.
Reviews and verifies patient information, ensuring compliance with MRI safety protocols.
Positions patients and adjusts imaging equipment for optimal results.
Collaborates with radiologists during interventional MRI procedures.
Performs daily checks on MRI equipment to ensure proper functionality.
Administers contrast injections when indicated by the protocol.
Documents all procedures in the RIS system accurately.
Maintains a clean and organized MRI suite, adhering to infection control standards.
Ensures all MRI studies are transmitted to PACS and reviewed for quality assurance.
Participates in team meetings and continuing education sessions.
Skills:
Advanced knowledge of MRI equipment and imaging protocols.
Strong organizational and patient care skills.
Education & Certifications:
Graduate of a Radiologic Technology program accredited by AMA/J.C.E.R.T.
