Job Title: Senior MRI Technologist

Duties:

1. Conducts advanced MRI imaging procedures, ensuring adherence to established protocols.
2. Prepares patients for MRI exams, providing detailed instructions and addressing any concerns.
3. Operates specialized MRI equipment to capture diagnostic-quality images.
4. Reviews patient safety questionnaires and implements MRI safety protocols before scanning.
5. Ensures proper patient positioning and usage of MRI coils for optimal imaging.
6. Performs routine maintenance checks on MRI equipment and reports any technical issues.
7. Assists physicians during MRI-guided procedures as required.
8. Verifies image quality and transmits completed studies to PACS in a timely manner.
9. Maintains accurate records in the Radiology Information System (RIS).
10. Adheres to infection control policies and ensures a clean, safe work environment.

Skills:

• Expertise in MRI imaging procedures and patient positioning.
• Strong understanding of MRI safety and equipment handling.

Education & Certifications:

• Graduate of an AMA/J.C.E.R.T.-approved program in Radiologic Technology.
• NY State License (L.R.T.) with IV Certification.
• ARRT certification in MRI.
• BLS certification.

Pay Range:

• Weekly: $3,000 - $3,750
