Job Title: Cytology Laboratory Technologist

Duties:

• Conduct comprehensive cytological evaluations of patient specimens.
• Screen slides for abnormalities, including fine needle aspirations and biopsies.
• Collaborate with pathologists to finalize diagnostic reports.
• Maintain laboratory safety standards and adhere to quality control protocols.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of laboratory imaging equipment.
• Document findings accurately and participate in departmental meetings.
• Engage in professional development to enhance diagnostic expertise.

Skills:

• 1+ year experience in cytopathology.
• Proficient in Hologic imaging systems and related technologies.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a high-volume environment.

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Cytotechnology or related field.
• NYSED Cytotechnologist license required.
• BLS certification preferred.

Pay Range:

• Weekly: $2,750 - $3,500
