Job Title: Advanced Cytotechnologist

Duties:

• Analyze gynecological and non-gynecological cytology samples for diagnostic purposes.
• Use advanced imaging systems for enhanced slide evaluation.
• Screen and report abnormalities in fine needle aspiration specimens.
• Ensure laboratory compliance with regulatory standards and safety protocols.
• Prepare specimens and maintain accurate documentation of results.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and training sessions.
• Support pathologists by providing diagnostic insights and recommendations.

Skills:

• At least 1 year of professional experience in cytology.
• Expertise in using imaging tools like Hologic Imager.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Cytotechnology required.
• Current Cytotechnologist license issued by NYSED.
• BLS certification preferred.

Pay Range:

• Weekly: $2,800 - $3,450
