Diagnostic Cytotechnologist - NYCRAD

Job Title: Diagnostic Cytotechnologist

Duties:

• Examine gynecological and non-gynecological cytology specimens under a microscope.
• Prepare detailed diagnostic reports for pathologist verification.
• Screen fine needle aspiration slides for cellular abnormalities.
• Adhere to laboratory protocols for specimen preparation and safety.
• Conduct quality assurance and maintain accurate documentation of findings.
• Assist with laboratory operations, including equipment maintenance and supply inventory.
• Participate in training programs to enhance cytology expertise.

Skills:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in cytopathology.
• Familiarity with advanced imaging techniques, such as Hologic systems.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Cytotechnology required.
• Valid NYSED Cytotechnologist license.
• BLS certification preferred.

Pay Range:

• Weekly: $2,750 - $3,450
