Advanced CT Technologist - NYCRAD

Job Title: Advanced CT Technologist

Duties:

• Perform CT imaging using established protocols to ensure diagnostic accuracy.
• Conduct daily calibration and maintenance of CT equipment.
• Safely administer contrast agents and monitor patient reactions.
• Follow departmental policies for documentation and log maintenance.
• Perform radiation safety tests and maintain compliance with ALARA guidelines.
• Manage radiopharmaceutical inventory and verify activity levels before use.
• Collaborate with radiologists for image review and interpretation.
• Adhere to infection control and safety procedures during all tasks.

Skills:

• Experience with CT imaging systems and techniques.
• Familiarity with radiopharmaceutical handling and safety standards.
• Strong organizational and patient care skills.

Education:

• Valid NYSDOH Radiologic Technologist license.
• ARRT certification in CT required.
• BLS certification preferred.

Pay Range:

• Weekly: $2,550 - $3,450
