CT Imaging Specialist - NYCRAD

Job Title: CT Imaging Specialist

Duties:

• Operate CT equipment to perform diagnostic imaging procedures as prescribed.
• Conduct daily equipment quality checks and ensure functionality.
• Administer and monitor contrast materials, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
• Record and maintain detailed patient and procedural documentation.
• Implement ALARA standards for radiation safety.
• Provide patient education regarding imaging procedures and aftercare.
• Work collaboratively with radiologists and healthcare staff.
• Assist in inventory management and equipment maintenance.

Skills:

• Experience with advanced CT imaging protocols and technology.
• Excellent communication and patient interaction skills.
• Knowledge of safety and compliance guidelines in radiology.

Education:

• NYSDOH Radiologic Technologist license required.
• ARRT certification in CT mandatory.
• BLS certification preferred.

Pay Range:

• Weekly: $2,550 - $3,350
