Job Title: Vascular Diagnostic Specialist

Job Summary:
The Vascular Diagnostic Specialist performs ultrasound imaging of vascular structures to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating vascular conditions. The specialist ensures accurate image acquisition and patient comfort.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform vascular diagnostic imaging studies using ultrasound equipment.
• Review physician orders and patient history to determine appropriate imaging protocols.
• Capture diagnostic-quality images and ensure proper documentation in medical records.
• Provide assistance during interventional vascular procedures as needed.
• Educate patients about the procedures and maintain a reassuring environment.
• Maintain equipment functionality through routine checks and troubleshoot issues promptly.

Skills:

• Expertise in vascular ultrasound imaging techniques.
• Proficient in operating PACS systems and image documentation.
• Strong interpersonal skills for patient and team collaboration.

Education and Certification:

• Diploma or degree in diagnostic medical sonography.
• ARDMS or CCI certification required.
• BLS certification preferred.

Pay Range:

• Weekly: $2,250 - $3,050
• Monthly: $9,000 - $12,200
