Job Title: Pathology Laboratory Technician

Duties:

• Perform routine laboratory procedures, including preparation and processing of biopsy specimens.
• Collaborate with pathologists to ensure timely and accurate diagnostic reporting.
• Maintain cleanliness and functionality of lab equipment and workspace.
• Document laboratory processes and ensure compliance with medical and safety standards.
• Participate in ongoing training and quality improvement initiatives.

Skills Required:

• Expertise in grossing surgical and dermatological biopsies.
• Knowledge of pathology workflows and laboratory equipment.

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Licensed as a Lab Technician or Histological Technician.
• Active New York State License.

Pay Range:

• Weekly: $2,500 - $3,300
• Monthly: $10,000 - $13,200
