Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist II

Duties:

• Administer radiopharmaceuticals and perform imaging studies such as PET and SPECT.
• Ensure accurate data collection and quality imaging results.
• Monitor and adjust equipment to achieve optimal imaging performance.
• Record patient information and procedural details in compliance with standards.
• Assist physicians during therapeutic procedures involving radioactive materials.
• Conduct routine quality control on imaging devices and resolve technical issues.
• Educate and comfort patients during nuclear medicine procedures.

Skills Required:

• Expertise in nuclear medicine imaging procedures.
• Ability to maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Education:

• NYSDOH nuclear medicine technologist license required.
• ARRT or NMTCB certification mandatory.
• BLS certification preferred.

Pay Range:

• Weekly: $1,400 - $1,850
• Monthly: $5,600 - $7,400
