Job Title: Certified Nuclear Medicine Specialist

Duties:

• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for imaging and therapeutic purposes.
• Perform imaging studies such as SPECT and PET with precision and accuracy.
• Monitor patient reactions and ensure safety during procedures.
• Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment to guarantee optimal performance.
• Record and analyze imaging data for diagnostic purposes.
• Adhere to all safety and compliance guidelines for handling radioactive materials.
• Provide patients with clear instructions and support throughout their procedures.

Skills Required:

• Proficiency in nuclear imaging techniques and equipment operation.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.

Education:

• Valid NYSDOH nuclear medicine technologist license required.
• Certification through ARRT or NMTCB required.
• BLS certification preferred.

Pay Range:

• Weekly: $1,375 - $1,800
• Monthly: $5,500 - $7,200
